Hi, Hypnosis Friends!
Happy 2 weeks ’til summer! Our area (Greater Seattle) is absolutely one of the most beautiful on the planet, especially this time of year. Hope you’re getting out and about and enjoying the sunshine. I’m keeping busy with client work and teaching, Michael and I just finished up another Licensed Master Practitioner of NLP® certification training. Yay, new experts out and about to make positive change in the world.
Speaking of change, I’ve written a new article published on Self-Growth.com and thought I’d share it with you all as well. It’s about our endless fascination with change–how to make things happen for clients such that they get to live life the way they want. “Never In A Million Years.”
It’s a push-me, pull-you approach to change. Feeling so good you are moved in positive directions, combined with a “Never” attached to unwanted habits to the point that they shut off.
Here’s a LINK to the article.
Here’s an excerpt:
“…Dr. Richard Bandler, the co-creator of NLP has said: “Good feelings, good decisions. Bad feelings, bad decisions.” I’ve changed it up somewhat. “Good feelings, good decisions. Bad feelings, good decisions.” I want a client to feel so good in the moment (the various decision points) that the unwanted behavior never triggers. There’s no urge to do it, and it doesn’t even enter their thinking. And, I want to attach such negativity to the habit itself that it becomes an automatic “no.” “Never in a million years.””
All the Best,
Connie Brannan, CHt.
