The Power of Your Mind: Unlocking Weight Loss and Healthy Eating Habits Through Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP

Are you struggling to keep your hands off those all-too-tempting sugary snacks? Have you found yourself stuck in a cycle of unsuccessful diets? If you’ve been searching for a unique, effective approach to weight loss and establishing healthier eating habits, it’s time to explore the transformative powers of hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Both hypnotherapy and NLP are powerful tools that work with the immense potential of your subconscious mind, enabling you to make profound and lasting changes in your life. But how do they do this?

Hypnotherapy: Unlocking Your Inner Strength

Hypnotherapy for weight loss is like having a personal trainer for your mind. Your subconscious mind influences your behaviors and beliefs. In a state of deep relaxation, we guide you to unlock and reprogram your subconscious, helping you replace unhealthy habits with healthier ones. Imagine craving fresh fruits and vegetables instead of processed foods, or feeling motivated to exercise instead of dreading it. Sounds wonderful, right?

NLP: Rewriting Your Life Script

On the other hand, Neuro-Linguistic Programming is about ‘modeling excellence.’ NLP practitioners believe that if one person can achieve something, anyone else can too, with the right mindset. NLP provides you with the psychological tools to discover and replicate the mindset of people who maintain a healthy lifestyle effortlessly. We call it “The Healthy Eating Strategy” of naturally slender people, and we install it in you.  It allows you to rework your habits about food, exercise, and self-image.

Combined Power of Hypnotherapy and NLP

When combined, hypnotherapy and NLP create a potent method to drive effective and lasting weight loss. Hypnotherapy helps identify and address underlying beliefs that lead to unhealthy eating, while NLP equips you with the mental tools to model and maintain a healthier lifestyle.

Think about it – no more restrictive diets that leave you feeling deprived and lead to inevitable relapse. Instead, you get a personalized, holistic approach that aligns your subconscious and conscious mind towards achieving your weight loss goals.

Take the Leap

Does it work?  Lots of our clients say:  “Yes!”  Read here:  happy weight management hypnosis client testimonials.  So why not give Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP a go for your weight loss and healthy eating journey? It’s time to embrace a new way of thinking about weight loss – one that empowers you, respects your body’s unique needs, and celebrates the process of becoming healthier. With hypnotherapy and NLP, your journey to weight loss and healthy eating habits could become not only achievable but also enjoyable!

Goodbye to Suffocation Feeling — Client Testimonial for Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP

Best Hypnosis in Seattle Area Mindworks HypnosisHi, Hypnosis Friends!

Another Seattle area client reports on wonderful changes after working with Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP.  Here is a report by Helen, of Renton, WA.

She came in primarily for weight management and healthy eating, however, she also had an unwanted and unnecessary problem of feeling suffocated in various stress situations.  Not good.  Not useful.  So, we got rid of that in the course of our weight loss work, as well.

Here’s her report:

“Hi, Connie!  The issue of the feeling of suffocation has completely gone! No longer an issue. Just gone!  YAY for success!

Re:  hypnosis for weight loss… I can tell you that my dietary tastes have modified and some positive changes we made have really “stuck,” and that’s good.

I feel good enough about your services that I sent my longtime buddy to you about a month ago to overcome his “white coat syndrome” with doctors.  Feel free to use me as a reference!”   Helen Schwalm, Renton, WA.

That’s the idea here.  We don’t work on just one thing, we work on whatever a client presents.  One of my goals working with clients is to find connections between issues, and go for the “strike.”  Like bowling.  If you hit the right pins in the right way, it takes them all down.  People get more “bang for the buck” at Mindworks.  We’ll spread the positive change around, to more than one area of life.  You may come in for weight loss, and get tools for stress release as well.  You may come in to quit smoking, and gain confidence for business success and relationships.  I find out what you need, and we create that to help you attain your specific goals.  This IS a customized service.  No script-reading, generic, less-powerful hypnosis here!

We go for it.  Using all my tools and creativity, including hypnosis, both direct and indirect, NLP processes (hypnosis on steroids), energy work, timeline work, parts therapy, and more.

Hypnosis is an art form.  And I’m happy Helen is happy with the new canvas of her life.  Again, you can learn more any time in my free consultation meeting.  Call me and let’s get started.  425-564-8608.

Long Term Weight Loss with Skilled Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP

Seattle's Mindworks Hypnosis - You'll Dance for JoyHi, Hypnosis Friends!

Here’s a musing on life, success, and hypnosis.

I like authentic people.  People who are true to themselves, and live life honestly.  Lies have a way of becoming found out.  People who are phony bull-oney, well, that comes out as well.  As they say:   “action talks and bull**** walks.”

There are some so-called expert weight loss therapists in our Seattle area who pretend they understand healthy lifestyles and how to manage weight. So, maybe they understand, or, maybe not.  But have they lived these challenges, and won?  Are they DOING it for themselves?  Living it?  Being authentic?

I choose authentic!  I am!  I’m living long term weight loss success.  Power and control of habits.  Choice in action.  It’s now ten years at a healthier weight through self hypnosis and my own NLP work on self development.  These are the same tools I use and mindset I help clients achieve at Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP.  Hypnosis is a hugely successful tool for weight loss.  Check out the pictures of me, below

Hypnosis & NLP for effective long term weight loss.

Unfortunately, hypnotists in Washington State are not required to have any specific credentialling or training.  Truth!  It’s a buyer beware world!  Some hypnotists are clueless and ineffective.  It’s not wholly their fault, they may have had weak and uninspired training. Those bad schools are out there.  Or, no training at all.

Other hypnotic change workers are the authentic ones.  The real deal.  The ones who care, and are skilled, creative and passionate about their work.  The ones well trained, who now train others.  We do exist!  Here’s how to find your great hypnotist:  I invite you to check out my article on this topic!  http://www.mindworkshypnosis.net/hypnosis-nlp-articles-connie-brannan/best-seattle-hypnotherapist/

If weight loss is your goal, find someone who knows what the heck they’re doing.  Not craziness or fad diets, or traditional talk therapies to figure out WHY you’re stressed and overeat.  That’s not relevant.  We just stop that behavior, and develop new healthy behaviors.  Not skinny ninny hypnotists who have never experienced what this is all about.  Not unskilled obese hypnotists who can’t solve their own problems.  Find someone who is proven successful, who can guide you to success as well with a toolkit that works.

All the Best,
Connie

The Empowerment of Marian

Find your Power, with Mindworks Hypnosis!
Find your Power, with Mindworks Hypnosis!

I love when I see people changing right before my eyes.  A recent weight loss client, Marian Zappala, of Redmond, WA is having wonderful changes through the work we’re doing: hypnosis and NLP.  She’s becoming powerful, and losing weight along the wayl!

Marian is a lovely, intelligent lady who needed more confidence in herself.  Now she’s got that.  After two sessions, she reports that she’s already lost 4 pounds.  Here’s what she says about what she’s noticing:

“I was an emotional eater.  Since I’ve started the process of hypnosis I have felt more confident, more relaxed, and more in control of my life.  And, through this process I have let go of those things that were controlling me, like irritability, boredom, stress,  and I now have managed my eating patterns.  I’ve lost 4 pounds so far.”

I no longer crave sweets, breads, or the carbs that were making me more tired, more heavy,  and more irritable.  I’m feeling more confident!  And I see that it’s almost unconscious that I’m making these decisions to not eat the bread, the pasta, the rice.  And definitely I’m eating smaller portions!  The other night for dinner I chose to have just vegetables, and I was not hungry later.   When I woke up in the morning, I was hungry but I didn’t want or get any bread.  Which is a miracle!”

Food choice changes, yay!  However, self image changes:  super yay!  Here is what Marian says about how she feels more empowered in her life, even beyond just this weight management goal.

“The idea of “I’m not good enough” has been completely destroyed.

I feel more armed for the world, better prepared. My confidence, my ability to manage stressful situations  is back to where it used to be, like 15 years ago.  So now I feel that it’s just a matter of time for me to achieve the weight loss that I want to have for myself.

I’m really happy about all these changes.

I definitely recommend Connie!  You’ll have to come and try it!  You’ll see that even in just one session you can feel a difference in your mood and your attitude towards making changes in your life regardless of what the change is.  The process is very easy.  Connie helps me through all the steps.  It’s funny at times.  It’s something that I think anybody who has an open mind to a change in their life can embrace.”  –Marian Zappala, PHd., Redmond, WA.

Marian came in for weight loss, and that’s happening.  Losing weight and finding so much more.  I’m enjoying seeing this empowerment of Marian.  More!  We want more.

When I help people with weight management, we look at everything–and as we begin the work I ask about 1/2 hour’s worth of questions as to existing habits and patterns.  My questions are not JUST about the food and exercise habits–they’re also about emotions, beliefs, and self image.   I see what needs tweaking for optimal success.  And then we go for it.  Creative hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  It works.

When to Say When: Portion Control for Weight Management

Are you ready?
Are you ready?

This is a very busy time of year for hypnotherapists. New Year’s Resolutions spur visits for weight loss, quitting smoking, and other positive changes. I know that any time you’re motivated for change is a good time to get started, whether that’s January 1st or any other date. Hypnosis “turbo-charges” the actualization of your goals.

I love helping people with weight loss. People come into my office and itemize their issues: what they eat, when they eat, why they eat (when they’re not hungry), how fast they eat, and all the accompanying aspects of self image and internal dialog, limiting beliefs, and so on. Many things need tweaking for success.

The topic of the moment is: Portion Control. When to say when. How to become attuned to the right amount of food for your body and energy needs. How to eat less and enjoy it more. Here is part two of my continuing essays on the various aspects of the “Weighty Issue” of weight loss and weight management, and the successes to be had through Neuro Linguistic Hypnotherapy.

Our mind has unconscious strategies for everything we do. How we act, how we think, what we choose, what we perceive as real. We acquire these strategies through learning. They become embedded in us like programs running on a computer, which we then call “habits.” Habits are learned, and they can be unlearned.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP–a conversational hypnosis) studies successful unconscious strategies, and we can grab, install, and live those strategies in ourselves. In studies of naturally slender people, we have successfully gathered naturally slender food strategies. Via NLP and hypnosis, we can install these into people who would benefit from them. This is a necessary piece of the work I do with clients! A client can adopt an unconscious new strategy and find themselves engaging in new behaviors without any mental effort.

We get clients in tune with physical hunger vs. emotional hunger. The mind can notice the difference. Emotional hunger is “fed” in new non-caloric ways. Physical hunger leads to a healthy choice strategy in the mind, meaning you’re more likely to reach for an apple rather than a cookie, a salad rather than a cheeseburger and fries. We implant a speed strategy, how fast to eat. Slowing it down is usually helpful. We implant a beverage of choice strategy: water! And then most importantly, we implant an exit strategy. When to STOP EATING. This is set at the point of satisfaction, when the body’s nutritional and energy needs are met in accordance with achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

There are, sadly, desperate people out in the world who don’t realize the control they have over their own minds and bodies, and they go to bizarre extremes like surgeries that attempt to PHYSICALLY limit food intake. That’s not necessary! Installing new unconscious strategies with hypnosis creates better success, without the expense or health risks.

When it’s all said and done, the weight loss client finds themselves engaging in:
–Less emotional eating
–Healthier choices
–Smaller portions
–More satisfaction.

It’s all good.

If your unconscious strategies (habits around food) need adjustment, it’s so much easier than you think to make healthy changes. You can discover it for yourself any time. After January 1st or before.

Warm Regards,
Connie

Want Versus Need

MotivationHi, Hypno-Friends!

I woke up this morning thinking about motivation.   Have you ever said to yourself:  “I WANT to do this!”?  Did that alone move you to do it?  For the people that come into my Bellevue hypnotherapy office for help in such things as losing weight or quitting smoking, the answer is typically “no.”  They want to.  They haven’t.  (Yet.)

Have you ever said to yourself:  “I NEED to do this!”?  Did that move you more or less to actually accomplish it?

Want vs. need.  Those two words create different feelings inside us, that are often in conflict.  Here is a classic example I hear from my weight loss clients:  I want to sit on the couch, watch TV and eat donuts, however I need to go to the gym and get on the elliptical machine.

Want is desire, an attraction, a pull.  I want that new car.  Need is necessity, and can be a push away from something we don’t want.  I need to do the dishes, or I won’t have any clean ones to eat off of.  Either one alone, want or need, might move us to action.  Or not.

Here’s my insight!  What if we combine these motivations?

How much more likely are you to DO the thing you both want to do and need to do?  What if you wanted to go to the gym as well as needed to?   Would you be sitting on the couch with donuts?  No way, Jose!

A combo of want and need generates massive power for forward action!  You’re moving away from what you don’t want and don’t need and towards what you do want and do need at the same time.  This is something I help people create in themselves through hypnosis and NLP Neuro Linguistic Programming.  I have found it to be very, very useful for helping clients achieve their goals.

The meaning and utility of words is my business.  And because one of my personal goals (NEED and WANT) is to become the best at what I do, I spend every waking minute, including this Sunday morning, musing on the power of words.  If you need or want some changes in your life and they aren’t happening, give us a call.  We’ll get you moving in the right direction.

Warm Regards,
Connie

Healthy Eating Hypnosis – From the Perspective of one Happy Donut!

Hi, Hypno-Friends!

Here is another fun video from the mind of Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP. Michael and I have had numerous trainings, including a current go-round of improvisational comedy/acting classes. We’re stretching our quick-mindedness and creativity, useful tools for a hypnotist (and anyone). One exercise in improv class is called “narrative collage.” You take on various viewpoints of different players in a scene to tell a story.

Here is the story of healthy eating, as seen by Ms. Donut.

Enjoy!

There’s Easier Ways to Self Esteem

Change how you feel and the looks come next.
Change how you feel and the looks come next.

Hi, Hypnosis Friends!

I just came across a ridiculous news story on the internet.  A woman with a history of eating disorders and lack of confidence and self esteem decided not to look at herself in the mirror for a year.  As in, NEVER.  Not to put on makeup, not to brush her teeth, not to adjust her skirt.

She avoided seeing her image in the rear view mirror while driving and looked away from plate glass windows and reflective surfaces.

She trusted others to give their opinions of how she looked rather than trust herself.  “Do I have mascara on my nose?”

Her objective?  To feel better about herself.  I find this story extremely sad.  Because there’s such easier and quicker ways to feel good about yourself.  And stay feeling good.  As in a few hours with a skilled and Licensed Neuro Linguistic Programmer.  Rather than endure a year of peculiar-ness (I’ve made up a new word!).  The extremes that people go to to try to feel different are crazy.  If only they knew!

I help people achieve this every day of the week, feeling more confident and boosting self esteem.  It’s so easy, with the right tools.  That’s skilled NLP.  And I help them access these new feelings frequently, when useful, and when they choose to.

One of the actual triggers I install in people is to feel good WHEN they look in the mirror.  Positive self talk happens BECAUSE they are looking in a mirror.  Energy and confidence happens.  Happy happens.  And this good feeling flies in spontaneously and automatically.  I love to do this.

The lady in the mirror story is so extreme, and it’s such an unnecessary waste of time and energy.  It’s like wanting to walk to your neighborhood grocer and hopping a plane to Alaska instead, and then walking back to the grocer from there.

The triggers in this woman for negative thinking are still there, avoidance behavior didn’t change HER or her unconscious patterns.  You change unconscious patterns by getting in there and changing unconscious patterns.  Skilled NLP works gangbusters for that.

One of these days people in general are going to discover the real power of their minds to change:  hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming.  Right now, I’m spreading the word on this success, one client at a time.

Warm Regards,
Connie

The Food Obsessing is Over – Testimonial of Success for Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP

Kicking the food temptations.
Kicking the food temptations.

Hi, Seattle area hypnosis friends!

I got another fabulous, happy client email the other day.  Lori H. of Mercer Island was reporting her progress after two hypnosis and NLP sessions with me.  She sent me the accompanying photo and story.

“Hi Connie,

Just had to send along this spread of the party I was at last night. All of the things I find the hardest to resist! Meats, cheeses, bread, crackers, nuts. It was so nothing to me! I didn’t have ONE THING! And the best part was I didn’t WANT one thing!

It’s just so amazing to me. I am sure it’s “another day at the office” for you but, for me…oh my goodness it was so awesome to not obsess over having it or not…wow. Thank you!!!”  — Lori H., Mercer Island, WA

That’s right.  Positive changes afoot.  Yay!  After only one session Lori also commented that she was “shocked.”  In a good way, the best way, with the easy-feeling behavioral changes she was seeing in herself.  That’s the power of skilled hypnotherapy.

As always, the opportunity to discover this success for yourself exists.  It’s a phone call away.  Connie & Michael Brannan, Mindworks Hypnosis @ (425) 564-8608.

Warm Regards,

Taking Control: Weight Loss Success Testimonial

Pam Fox of Gig Harbor has taken control of her habits. After two hypnosis and NLP sessions with Mindworks Hypnosis devoted to healthy eating and weight management, she reports positive changes.  Goodbye overeating and late night eating. Hello portion control and an automatic adjustment in how much and when she eats or even thinks about food. Yay! Good job, Pam.

This is the power of the unconscious mind to help.  A “diet” is a conscious minded thing and very limited and difficult to sustain long term.  With skilled hypnotherapy, changing your mind and your habits feels so easy and natural.  Because it is.

Pam says she’s “thrilled.”  So am I.  With hypnosis.

Know Thy Enemy – the Little Discussed Other Problems Caused by Overweight

Hypnosis Helps with Weight Loss

Hi, Hypno-Friends!

Just in time for New Year’s Resolutions, obesity is in the news!  In short, more about what we all know:  it’s not healthy to be carrying around all this extra poundage on the body.  If you are struggling with this issue, perhaps you are blinding yourself to HOW unhealthy.  It’s a killer.

Here’s an interesting article from the Associated Press today, expressing how ignorant the general public is about the health risks of overweight.  See below.

What they aren’t saying, and SHOULD be headline news, is the fact that hypnosis is a fantabulous way to address overweight.  A REAL solution.  A lasting help.  Not ridiculous crap like bariatric surgeries.  We don’t want to get me started on that idiocy again… I’ve already shared my opinions about that here in the blog.

Here’s the article from the AP:

“Few Americans know all the risks of obesity  – by LAURAN NEERGAARD and JENNIFER AGIESTA |

WASHINGTON (AP) — Heart disease and diabetes get all the attention, but what about the many other ways obesity can damage your health?

Carrying too many pounds may lead to or worsen some types of cancer, arthritis, sleep apnea, even infertility. But a new poll suggests few Americans realize the links.

Only about one-quarter of people think it’s possible for someone to be very overweight and still be healthy, according to the poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

Ask about the most serious consequences, and more than 7 in 10 Americans can correctly tick off heart disease and diabetes. Heart disease is the nation’s leading killer, and diabetes and obesity are twin epidemics.

The other consequences aren’t so well known.

“People are often shocked to hear how far-reaching the effects of obesity are,” said Jennifer Dimitriou, a dietitian at New York’s Montefiore Medical Center.

Just 7 percent of people surveyed mentioned cancer, although doctors long have known that fat increases the risk of developing cancers of the colon, breast, prostate, uterus and certain other sites. Plus, being overweight can make it harder to spot tumors early and to treat them.

Then there’s the toll on your joints, especially the knees. About 15 percent of people knew obesity can contribute to arthritis.

High blood pressure, high cholesterol and strokes were fairly low on the list. Infertility didn’t get a mention.

Also, 5 percent put respiratory problems on the list. Studies show people who are overweight are at increased risk of sleep apnea and asthma, and that dropping pounds can help improve their symptoms.

Knowing more about the myriad ways obesity affects health could help motivate people to get more active and eat better before full-blown disease strikes, Dimitriou said.”

Hypnosis Works for Weight Loss!

Hypnotherapy makes happy.

I love to share happy client reports.  Here’s another.  Woman came in for weight management–in two weeks she’s lost 5 pounds.  She’s happy with that beginning.  But what she’s found to be true was something unexpected (to her) that I see all the time.  Positive changes roll like a snowball.  They intertwine and touch so many aspects of our lives.

She is focusing on healthy and feeling better about herself, and that is manifesting in a number of noticeable ways beyond food and exercise.  Her attitude on life has changed, which is improving her work, and improving her relationships.  Here’s what K.C. of Bellevue, Washington said to me yesterday:

“It’s an astonishing transformation!  I’m so happy!  I’m so grateful.”

Yes, hypnosis works for weight loss.  And so much more.

I sell professional services.  It’s not like a can of peas.  Well, they sell it at this store and they sell it at that store and it doesn’t matter where I buy it.  At this one place I’ll save 10 cents.  These are professional, personalized services, and the difference is the skill set, passion, intelligence, and creativity of the practitioner.  We hypnotists and hypnotherapists, we’re not all selling the same thing.  Not at all.

I’m selling success and transformation.  Ask K. C.  of Bellevue.  Or call me and I’ll be happy to tell you more about Neuro Linguistic Hypnotherapy:  (425) 564-8608.

Warm Regards,
Connie

It’s the holiday for love and warmth and connection.  Heart to heart.  Here’s wishing you all of the above.

And, a reminder:  if you need help in the realm of relationships and relating, hypnosis works!  Hypnosis is really about communicating with your own unconscious mind, which when directed in terms of relationships leads to improved communication with the people in your world.

Too much chocolate? Hypnosis can help!Turns out, Valentine’s Day also means love and connection with CHOCOLATE.  Sometimes, too much chocolate.  If you need help in that realm, well, Mindworks Hypnosis has been voted “Best of Bellevue 2011” for weight loss and control programs. 🙂

“Elation!”

Hi, Hypnosis Friends & Enthusiasts & Interested Parties!

I began my latest go-round of the self hypnosis course at Bellevue College last night.  GOOD turnout!  There were a few people who had experienced hypnosis before and a majority who had not.

It’s fun.  It’s my pleasure to introduce people to what I love.  What I appreciate.  What I know to be massive power for positive changes:  Hypnosis.

I brought the group into a nice trance and set an “anchor” for rehypnosis–that they control.  In their own time and their own space and for their own well-formed goals.  I asked the group what their first experience of hypnosis was like.

There was a young girl in my class.  Her answer:  “Elation!”  Yes, that’s precisely what hypnosis feels like.  Another girl said it feels similar to the state she goes into while praying, it feels like “prayer.”  Yes, that’s what hypnosis feels like.   One girl said her body felt “heavy.”  Yes, that’s what hypnosis feels like.  A man (who seemed disappointed–who doesn’t YET understand the power of the state) said it simply feels like “Relaxing.”  Yes, that’s what hypnosis feels like.  My personal sense of hypnosis is a heightened focus accompanied with a profound sense of control and well-being.  That’s what hypnosis feels like.

It’s a very individual experience.  Bottom line:  it feels GOOD!  But more than that, it does good.  For your life.  This isn’t zen, like meditation, where attaining the state is the goal.  No.  It’s USING the state to stimulate your mind to create change that’s desired and useful.  That’s hypnotherapy.  And that’s self hypnosis as well.

The class is going well.  There’s a second evening of fun and adventure and experience and learning ahead for this group.  Makes me happy!  🙂

Warm Regards,
Connie

Mindworks Hypnosis for Weight Loss Success – the Evidence Mounts!!

Positive Changes with Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP.
You go, Girl!!

Hi, Hypno-Friends.  Take a look at Nicole and her transformation in process.  Isn’t she beautiful??  And read what she has to say about her experience with Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP to help her attain her goals.  In short, hypnosis works!

Caveat, when shopping for your life change, you need to find a skilled hypnotist, one who has some creativity and inspiration, as well as creative “power tools”  like Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  Hypnosis is not only a science, it is an art.  My mother was an artist.  And so am I.  🙂   Judge some of my work for yourself.

Here’s what Nicole says about her tranformation:

I’ve worked with Connie on a couple different occasions, and she has changed my life completely.  I went to her for my lack of energy and enthusiasm for working out and losing weight. I’ve lost 50lbs and am now 10lbs from my goal!

“I love hypnosis…I feel a foot taller.  I feel thinner.  I feel lighter.  I feel like a superstar!…Go see Connie!  She’s magical!

If you would like to begin some similar life changes for yourself, that beginning is as near as your telephone.  Call me.  Connie (425) 564-8608.  Also, more information on my weight loss services is available here:

C’mon Get Happy!

Who remembers David Cassidy?  The Partridge Family.  I sure do!  I had a crush on him when I was 13!  🙂   And I liked one song in particular.  “Hello, world, here’s a song that we’re singin’,  c’mon get happy!  A whole lotta lovin’ is what we’ll be bringin’,  we’ll make you happy!  We’ll make you happy.”

I like when people get happy.  Because when you feel good, you think different thoughts, and make different decisions which lead to more useful behaviors.  That shift in feeling and thinking is what I aim for in my work at Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP.  Here’s one recent bullseye!

I got a wonderful report today from a weight loss client.  In part, here is what she says:

“Thank you Connie!  The work we have done together has truly changed my life.  I have found “my happy” and am now on the journey to a  stronger, slimmer, healthier me. –Kelly”

Here’s what I say to that!  Yay!!  🙂  You go, Girl!  Because, Kelly is making these changes happen.  I’ve guided her to her internal resources which make her life better, and she’s taken them onboard, like grabbing a football and running for the goal line.

Perhaps it’s time for positive changes in your life, whether it’s weight loss, habit change, letting go of fear, or what have you, hypnosis is a tool that works!   I’m ready to help!

Warm Regards,
Connie

Connie and the Ducks

Hi, Hypno Friends!

The ducks love me.  And, rightly so!  🙂  My office is in the most beautiful location, trees, water, fresh, green, lush, and…sinking.  It’s a wetlands.  And it’s wetter than usual.  We’ve had some flooding.

What used to be the tenant office parking area for my building is now part of a giant mud puddle, or as I call it, “the swamp.”  While it’s harder for us humans to scrounge for parking spaces, the ducks and other wildlife love it!  And the ducks love me.

I feed them.  Duckbread.

Yesterday I was  walking to my office by way of the swamp, and in it were 7 tiny baby ducks, several adults and one “half-pint” sized duck.   I see them every day!  Those are “my ducks.”  🙂  They were all hungry, apparently.  I had made a special trip to the Orowheat bakery thrift store (again) here in Bellevue to get a big package of bread for the ducks, and now…feasting time.   Duck frenzy.  A happy frenzy.

It is so cute to see those baby ducks eating.  And the happy sounds!  🙂  One thing I’ve noticed about ducks, though, they stop eating when they’ve had enough.  I’ll be tossing out the breadcrumbs and they’ll be scarfing them down, then suddenly they’re swimming away, totally disinterested.  Done!  Time to preen, time to sit in the sun.  The rest of the bread gets picked up and whisked away by the giant crows that also live in the area.

These ducks look VERY healthy.

What a good lesson for humans, too.  Stop eating when you’ve had enough.  In fact, that’s part of the “Naturally Slender Healthy Eating Strategy” I help install in clients during hypnosis.  NLP studies excellence and “what works.”  I help people take on the unconscious patterns of naturally slender people–and my clients become slender.  It works!  Goodbye, bored eating.  Goodbye, stress eating.  Goodbye, I have to finish my plate eating.  Goodbye, I see it so I have to eat it eating.  Hello, healthy eating.  Hello, in-tune-with-the-body eating.

Ducks know things.  Useful things.  And they know that I’m a friend and want the best for them.  I want that for my clients, too.  If you would like to eat healthier and take on the habits, thoughts, feelings that go along with healthy and result in weight loss and ongoing weight management, maybe it’s time for hypnosis.

Hypnosis for weight loss!
Hypnosis for weight loss!

I know whereof I speak.  I live the “healthy eating strategy” and it’s a huge part of how I lost 80+ pounds.  Now, whether you’ve got 8 to lose, or 80, these tools will reshape your life and body.  Call me and find out more:  (425) 564-8608.  http://www.loseweightseattle.com.
