Happy International Day of Happiness – From Mindworks Hypnosis

The UN declares, and of course I agree:  “The pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal.”  Yesterday, the world celebrated happy, with the 2014 International Day of Happiness.  If you want to hear some uber-catchy happy music and see some happy faces and bodies dancing to it, look on Youtube.com under the search term hashtag happy, #HAPPY.

Here’s one:

I think we should do more of that.  🙂  I think happiness is too big to contain within a single calendar day, and should be welcomed and celebrated and lived every day.  What kind of a world would it be if people were HAPPY every day?  A different world, a better world.  Because…

In the words of my favorite teacher, Dr. Richard Bandler:  “Good feelings, good decisions.  Bad feelings, bad decisions.”  My work is all about good feelings, and making them unconsciously automated.  That’s hypnosis and NLP.  When you feel good, you think differently, and you act differently in ways that are useful.

C’mon Get Happy!

Who remembers David Cassidy?  The Partridge Family.  I sure do!  I had a crush on him when I was 13!  🙂   And I liked one song in particular.  “Hello, world, here’s a song that we’re singin’,  c’mon get happy!  A whole lotta lovin’ is what we’ll be bringin’,  we’ll make you happy!  We’ll make you happy.”

I like when people get happy.  Because when you feel good, you think different thoughts, and make different decisions which lead to more useful behaviors.  That shift in feeling and thinking is what I aim for in my work at Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP.  Here’s one recent bullseye!

I got a wonderful report today from a weight loss client.  In part, here is what she says:

“Thank you Connie!  The work we have done together has truly changed my life.  I have found “my happy” and am now on the journey to a  stronger, slimmer, healthier me. –Kelly”

Here’s what I say to that!  Yay!!  🙂  You go, Girl!  Because, Kelly is making these changes happen.  I’ve guided her to her internal resources which make her life better, and she’s taken them onboard, like grabbing a football and running for the goal line.

Perhaps it’s time for positive changes in your life, whether it’s weight loss, habit change, letting go of fear, or what have you, hypnosis is a tool that works!   I’m ready to help!

Warm Regards,
Connie

The best time of your life is now.

The best time of your life is now.

We all have “plans.”  Plans for the future.  Grand schemes.  And that’s terrific.  We all have a past.  Yesterday, last week, last year.  Five years old.  And that’s terrific, too.  People think about those things, sometimes too much.  To the neglect of today.  Right now.

What are you doing right now?  Besides reading my blog…  What is the state of your mind and body?   Is there joy, is there fun, is there passion?  Is there motivation?  Is there happy?  Are you smelling the spring roses?   Are you LIVING, or are you waiting?  Are you living, or are you remembering?

Don’t wait to remember that right now is an important time of your life, too.  Right now, this instant.  If you’re not enjoying fully the state of your mind and body and experience of life at this moment, know this:  you can change it.  Easier and quicker than you think.

And, as I explain to every client who enters my office door, when you change how you feel, you change how you think, and you change what you DO.   It’s seamless.   If you want to feel something different, right now, not ten years down the road, if you want to see life differently, if you’re ready to hear new  and improved thoughts in your own head, and DO life differently in a way that makes more good feelings flow, hypnosis and NLP is a tool for you.  Experience it.  The best time of your life is right now.

I know that’s true.  Do you?

Warm Regards,
Connie
