I was at the mall today, and I found it to be a red letter day to buy red leather boots.\u00a0 Looking around the mall, I couldn’t help but notice boots upon boots upon boots–my reticular activating system was set on the boot channel, it seems.\u00a0 In every store display window, and on the majority of feet marching past, old and young–EVERYONE in Seattle it seems\u00a0was wearing boots today.\u00a0 ‘Tis the season.\u00a0 Shopping, and cold and wet.\u00a0 BOOTS are the style.\u00a0 Ankle boots, thigh high, and everything in between.\u00a0 Fur, leather, rubber, knit.\u00a0 Mostly black, but a few brights like\u00a0my red\u00a0out there.<\/p>\n
Bombarded by the boots, I finally said:\u00a0 “Ok, I’m in!”\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0search was on, and I covered a lot of territory.\u00a0 Shopping can take awhile, but when you find a real and valuable\u00a0gem, you get to chortle with glee.\u00a0 Now, the perfect new\u00a0boots are in the bag.\u00a0 My new red\u00a0suede\u00a0boots are very nice, and extremely\u00a0well made.\u00a0 Quality.\u00a0 I think they’ll stand up to wear and last and look terrific long into the new year, and the next and the next.\u00a0 It’s important to choose quality.\u00a0\u00a0 Cheapo\u00a0and shoddy mass production\u00a0don’t\u00a0cut it. They tend to be ill fitting, cause blisters, and fall apart after walking in snow. You want fine crafted workmanship.\u00a0 In footwear, and in hypnotists.<\/p>\n
I think hypnosis should be as popular as boots.\u00a0 That would be a GOOD thing for the world, with happier, healthier people running around enjoying life more and more and accomplishing their goals more and more and faster and easier.\u00a0 That’s the power of hypnosis.\u00a0 A helping tool deluxe!\u00a0 When shopping, whether it’s\u00a0 for shoes or for\u00a0a hypnotist, and you’re looking for\u00a0high quality, you’ve\u00a0got to be alert to avoid\u00a0weak and inferior product.\u00a0 Unfortunately, it’s out there, as well.\u00a0\u00a0 Impersonal, and unskilled product.<\/p>\n
Beware of hypnosis stores, with an eye on the bottom line, not the heart.\u00a0 In the realm of your mind, you want somebody GOOD, somebody who can really help,\u00a0with real and extensive\u00a0training.\u00a0 Hypnosis is an art, not a “cookie cutter” formula.\u00a0 You want somebody with creativity\u00a0\u00a0as well as\u00a0skill.\u00a0 You want somebody with presence and passion and heart, who’s been around the block and back again, and CARES.\u00a0 You won’t find all\u00a0that at the “here, put on these goggles and listen to this tape,\u00a0 maybe you’ll be hypnotized and maybe\u00a0not, maybe these suggestions will apply to your situation and maybe not” chain hypnosis store.<\/p>\n
When you’re choosing a hypnotist, here are a few things to consider.\u00a0 How many\u00a0live, in-person\u00a0trainings have they completed, and\u00a0how recently?\u00a0 What are the\u00a0certifications earned?\u00a0 Ask, and verify.\u00a0\u00a0Are they from recognized, reputable schools, or is it Joe in his basement printing out\u00a0\u00a0certs\u00a0for his 2 hour\u00a0internet course?\u00a0 Are they committed to continuing education?\u00a0 Do they have an explicit code of ethics to share with you?\u00a0 \u00a0How many different helping\u00a0tools have they learned and mastered?\u00a0 \u00a0What\u00a0\u00a0professional hypnosis affiliations, national and local,\u00a0do they belong to?\u00a0 How\u00a0long have they been in business as a hypnotherapist?\u00a0 Are there testimonials of proven success for issues similar to yours?\u00a0 Do they have a business license?\u00a0 Are they registered with the State of Washington as a hypnotherapist?\u00a0 Also very important, trust\u00a0your own vibe, how do they come across, look and\/or\u00a0sound (on the phone or face to face)–is the emphasis on “squeeze the money” or “I want to help!”?<\/p>\n
