I asked if hypnotists (and NLP people–those using that very specific brand of conversational hypnosis for positive change) were all supermen.\u00a0 And superwomen.\u00a0 Having worked on themselves to the point of perfect specimens of precision and excellence.\u00a0 No limiting beliefs, no bad habits, perfect bodies, perfect lives.\u00a0 These new tools seemed so miraculous to me (and they are) that I was “just askin’!”\u00a0 I was beginning to experience\u00a0success with hypnosis for weight loss, and I wondered how far these professionals were able to use these tools in their own lives, to improve their own lives.\u00a0 The answer surprised me!<\/p>\n
The consensus was, yes, we use them, but only a little, and only when there’s time.\u00a0 Which, apparently, there wasn’t.\u00a0 One friend told the story of the cobbler’s wife.\u00a0 He, the cobbler, the shoe-maker,\u00a0was so busy making shoes for other people his own family was running around without.\u00a0 His wife had old, old tattered shoes.\u00a0 He was wearing old shoes, himself.\u00a0 Now, that’s sad.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 I think it would have been of benefit to his business to make his wife some new, damn fine shoes.\u00a0 For her to wear, love, show off, dance in.\u00a0 People would notice.\u00a0 Her shoes would attract attention, and get him MORE business.\u00a0 “Wow, look at those beautiful shoes, where’d you get them?”\u00a0 “My husband makes these shoes!”\u00a0 “Wow, I’m coming in, I want shoes like that!”\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I’ve decided to flaunt my shoes.\u00a0 Only they aren’t shoes.\u00a0 My personal success with hypnosis is manyfold, but the easily visible part is the weight loss.\u00a0 I want people to notice that hypnosis works!\u00a0 For weight loss and weight management.<\/p>\n
Now, a cigarette-smoking hypnotist can probably help you with smoking cessation and an obese hypnotist can probably help you with weight loss–the tools are the same.\u00a0 But wouldn’t you rather work with someone who truly KNOWS and lives this success day by day, month by month, year by year?\u00a0 I would!\u00a0 Look at my shoes!!\u00a0 They sparkle!! I’ll make you a pair.<\/p>\n
