Hi, Hypno-Friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is a funny story.\u00a0 Yesterday, Michael and I were browsing books in Barnes & Noble Bookstore.\u00a0 Michael grabbed a book off the shelf, looked at it for a moment and informed me he was buying it.\u00a0 It was another book on unconscious communications.\u00a0\u00a0 We have a LOT of those books at home.\u00a0 I asked him:\u00a0 “Does it look good?”\u00a0 He said:\u00a0 “Yes!\u00a0 I’m buying it.\u00a0 There’s something about it, I noticed it right away.”\u00a0 I said:\u00a0 “Perhaps it’s that brilliant green cover.”\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

So, we browse more, and eventually end up at the checkout register.<\/p>\n

As the book is sitting on the counter, I notice that there are some words on the cover that I had not seen before, secret words:\u00a0 “Hey, there, Sexy!\u00a0 Yes, you.\u00a0 Buy this book now.\u00a0 You know you want it!”\u00a0 The words are invisible unless the book catches the light just so, and then creates a momentary silvery shine based on a difference in paper surface.\u00a0 We laughed uproariously.<\/p>\n

Looking further, we also noticed that along the spine were the secret words:\u00a0 BUY, BUY, BUY, and on the back in HUGE letters BUY, BUY, BUY and also on the inside jacket flaps.\u00a0 I asked Michael if he had noticed the words while looking at the book.\u00a0 Nope!\u00a0\u00a0 But of course, he had!\u00a0 With his UNconscious mind.\u00a0 The unconscious notices everything–taking in billions of pieces of information in any given moment.<\/p>\n

Too funny!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 The proof is in the behaviors.\u00a0\u00a0 This purchase supports the premise of the book itself — unconscious communications affect our choices.\u00a0 Michael wanted the book, and bought the book!\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Was it just his innate interest in the topic?\u00a0 Or did those invisible words add a motivational pull?\u00a0 I think both.<\/p>\n

This drives home the idea that drives my work.\u00a0 Unconscious communications (things we are not aware of) have massive power over us.\u00a0 This is my realm, this is my playground, to notice and change these things, and create more behavioral choices for people.<\/p>\n

I’m reading this book that Michael bought, too.\u00a0 Will take me all of five minutes.\u00a0 But that’s another story–Michael and I are just now returning from a multi-day training on hypnotic reading.\u00a0 Absorbing massive amounts of written information quickly using self hypnosis.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Think for a moment about what you don’t notice.\u00a0 It’s noticing you.\u00a0 And moving you.<\/p>\n
