Hi, Hypno-Friends!<\/p>\n

I’d like to share a story with you about a man in my Bellevue College hypnosis class this week.\u00a0 The names are being masked to protect the real people involved.\u00a0 Let’s call him SAM.\u00a0 Hi, Sam.<\/p>\n

Sam took my class.\u00a0 He’s an older gentleman, who sat in the back of the room during my first lecture with arms folded and a scowl of disbelief on his face.\u00a0 I was talking about the power and success of hypnosis.\u00a0 His face\u00a0was a poster child for “I don’t believe this AT ALL!\u00a0 Bull-oney!”<\/p>\n

It was comical to me, his expression and demeanor were so over-the-top.\u00a0 I turned to him and said:\u00a0 “You look skeptical.”\u00a0 He immediately denied it.\u00a0 “No, I’m open minded.”\u00a0 “Wonderful!” I replied.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Anyway we had a group trance experience and afterwards students were commenting on the experience.\u00a0 Sam denied that he had been hypnotized.\u00a0 Hey, when you do this work day in and day out as I do, guess what?\u00a0 You can recognize hypnosis.\u00a0 Sam was hypnotized.\u00a0 Very.<\/p>\n

So, I teach my class, and I throw in a few suggestions during trance to speak to various goals that the students had expressed.\u00a0 Sam’s was weight loss.\u00a0 Sam also got his mind focused on weight loss during the in-class exercises on goal setting.<\/p>\n

Next week completes the course.\u00a0 Sam returned.\u00a0 His whole attitude and demeanor had changed.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 He had immediately had BEHAVIORAL CHANGES in his life, with no other source than the work we did in class.\u00a0 He had already lost some weight to the point his wife commented on it to him!\u00a0 He was drinking more water, eating less, and so on.\u00a0 He was amazed.\u00a0 Suddenly, Sam was a believer.\u00a0 Hypnosis works!<\/p>\n

Yes, it does.\u00a0 At the end of the class, Sam was excited, pleased, enthusiastic, and he said to me:\u00a0 “I think I’ve found the holy grail.”\u00a0 People who are battling weight and have\u00a0eating issues, yes, they do know\u00a0the endless search for something that works.<\/p>\n

The holy grail?\u00a0 Perhaps.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Yes, you have found something wonderful, Sam, and yes, it’s going to lead you to attain your desires.<\/p>\n

I don’t make a lot of money teaching at Bellevue College, I mostly do it to spread the good word on hypnosis.\u00a0 The transformation in Sam’s face from “No!” to “Wow!” makes it all worth it for me.<\/p>\n
