They say Friday the 13th is a day to survive,<\/span>
\nbut I say it’s a day to arrive \u2014<\/span>
\nto show up differently than you did yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the black cat crossing your path?<\/span>
\nShe is not a warning.<\/span>
\nShe is a creature who has always known<\/span>
\nwhere she is going,<\/span>
\nunbothered by what anyone thinks of her journey.<\/span>
\nThere is something to learn from that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because here’s what they don’t put on the calendar:<\/span>
\nthe mind is not your enemy.<\/span>
\nIt is your most faithful companion,<\/span>
\nyour most devoted navigator,<\/span>

It holds on, yes.<\/span>

So look straight into the mirror today.<\/span>

\nthat no longer belongs to you.<\/span>
