Seattle Area Clinical Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapist & Licensed Trainer of NLP ™ shares the truth about hypnosis, NLP and the unconscious mind to create powerful, positive, and lasting life changes. Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP
The internet is full of interesting things. Here’s an item that caught my attention. Mattel toys has created a new line of Barbies for the first time showing different body types, including “curvy.”
On the surface this seems like a nice thing, showing young girls that there is more than one ideal of beauty. I grew up with this one:
Classic Barbie Doll
Barbie was blonde, perfect blue eyes, beautiful face, long eyelashes, pencil thin disproportionately long legs, with a big chest and tiny waist. This was nothing like my own image in the mirror. My husband calls her “anorexic Barbie” and noted what a terrible thing if little girls take that look as an ideal of beauty. Some do.
So, why am I against the idea of curvy Barbies?
I think curvy Barbie is another piece of something I dislike called “fat acceptance.” My expertise is understanding how the unconscious mind perceives and creates reality, and “fat acceptance” is inherently an unhealthy message.
Carrying excess weight on the body is a definite health risk, to every organ and system of the body. Ask your physician! It leads to a host of illnesses and an early death. And it’s absolutely not a cause for a fatalistic view: that’s who I am and I’m going to accept it. NO! I believe fat acceptance comes from a place of hopelessness. The truth is, losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight is in our control, and actually easy, with the right tools (skilled hypnotherapy and NLP).
Fat is not genetic, it’s a choice. People that truly love and accept themselves take action to safeguard their health–because they’re worth it!
There are plus size women flaunting their rolls of fat in bikinis and revealing gowns and such. They’re not doing it from a place of healthy self love, they’re doing it from a place of anger and antagonism and “in your face!” That’s my take on it. They call it “Fat Liberation” (don’t liberate it in front of me). “Fat Liberation” is hazardous to health.
I personally will always find fat unattractive. It’s not beautiful. It never was, and it never will be. Furthermore, It’s more unhealthy than it is unattractive. Obesity is an epidemic in this country, a massive one. And it’s not good. And telling little girls it’s OK to be fat, that is not good, either. My two cents.
Here’s the bottom line. I think people are powerful. More than they know. I think people have more control than they know. I think people can create any kind of life or body they want for themselves. I think people can learn to feel amazingly good and make good decisions for themselves. And accepting unhealthy ways and habits is never good.
I believe self love leads to self care. When you’re ready to experience real self-love, in a body size by design, we can help you do that in a healthy, natural way at Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP.
Another happy, successful client joins the ranks of “nonsmoker.” He smoked for 40 years, and quit in one Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy™ session with me.
He sent a follow up report, which he is allowing me to share:
“Hi Connie, Hey, first of all, let me say Thank You! Haven’t had a cigarette since our session on 8/26 at 12:30pm PDT. So, that’s a record for me. What’s it been now… 6 weeks! After ~40 years of smoking, that’s the longest abstinence to date. So far so good. Thanks again.” – Wishes-to-Remain-Anonymous, Seattle, WA.
Yay! More success. The world needs to know that skilled hypnosis kicks smoking’s butt. If you’ve tried other things, and those “didn’t work,” try something new. Something that does work. NLP is “hypnosis on steroids.” Skilled NLP is “magic” according to a recent client of mine. It might seem like magic, but really it’s just the power of understanding how the mind works and how to make rapid changes as useful and as desired. When you think differently, you do differently. Change really IS that easy.
Quitting smoking is just the tip of the iceberg of possibility with hypnosis. Michael and I have a saying at Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP: “If it involves the mind, hypnosis helps improve performance.” From weight management to sports performance, to removing fears and phobias, to physical changes such as accelerated healing, to ending “addictions” of all varieties, hypnosis is the real deal. Find a practitioner of these arts who is the real deal as well. http://www.mindworkshypnosis.net
Anytime of year is a good time of year to find your healthy. I think “Summer Resolutions” are just as important as “New Year’s Resolutions.” R. E., of Seattle, WA used hypnosis and NLP, my blend of Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy™ to lose weight, and she’s reporting she’s reached her mid-way mark.
“Hi Connie, I’m happy to report that I am down 15 pounds, half of my wt loss goal…I can see for certain that I will accomplish it. Thank you and take good care.” R.E., Seattle, WA
She can see her goal. And that’s what it takes. Plus, the right blend of power, energy, and determined motivation. Hypnosis brings that clarity of vision, and the right energy to GO GET IT. Find out anytime how easy it is to change your thinking and change your behaviors, and attain your goals. Call me for your free consultation. 425-564-8608.
There are so many myths and misunderstandings out and about in the universe. One that I find particularly WRONG is this: “change is slow and difficult.” What if that idea were utter baloney? What if that were only true for people who don’t have the right tools and training to make change happen fast and easily?
What if it was even worse than mere ignorance keeping people stuck in problem states? What if the idea “change is difficult” were being actively perpetuated to keep people from living full, successful and empowered lives? How would drug companies make their billions in profits and how would counselors be able to milk a client for years on end if change were easy?
Change IS easy, with the right tools skillfully wielded. Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy(tm) is amazingly fast for successful positive changes of all varieties. Behavioral changes. Belief changes. Feeling changes. Here is another live testimonial of quick success. Roberta Greenwood of Bellevue, WA had one session with me, and when she came in for her second session a week later, she gave her report:
“I had one session with Connie at Mindworks Hypnosis and what I’ve noticed is I have the ability to make better choices.I have the ability to NOT go in and buy the cupcakes and the chocolate cake that I normally did.And I have a belief system that tells me I don’t need that to be happy. And that is a remarkable change for me.I’m already feeling the shifts after one session.”
Her words are wonderful, however there is more to her message in her face and voice. Awe and relief. Watch:
Yes, one session and noticeable results. When you’re serious about personal change, you’re not interested in a therapist who will milk you for years. You want someone like me with a different business model. My business model is: be good, be quick, be efficient, help people ASAP to have what they want, and then they will tell their friends and family. That’s how my business grows. From success.
Find what works. Michael and I are Licensed Trainers of NLP ™. NLP has been rightly called “the magic of instant change.” When you’re ready for “remarkable change” in your life, like Roberta here, give us a call.
Goodbye, Willpower. And that's a good thing for weight loss.
Hi, Hypno-Friends!
The holidays are looming, and all those over-indulgence opportunities: holiday sweets and treats in the office, family parties, Turkey Day where the turkey isn’t the only thing getting “stuffed,” and so on are looming as well.
During the months of November and December, it’s easy to get wild and shelve healthy eating. It doesn’t have to be that way. At this very appropriate time, I’m offering a series of essays on weight management. Here’s number one!
It’s a Weighty Issue – Part I: Food Choice
It seems that a large percentage of the population is thinking about their weight at any given moment, reading about this new diet, that new food plan, purchasing diet products, and/or in the midst of dieting. Our weight truly is a national obsession.
So, why do diets and food plans fail so miserably to help people achieve a healthy weight and stay there? A “diet” is a conscious (thinking) endeavor. It involves analysis, logic, and willpower. That can’t cut it long term.
There’s more power in the mind beyond thinking.
Unconscious Drivers
We THINK we know why we do what we do. And we’d be wrong. Weight management and issues therein are a complex web beyond conscious choices. They involve unconscious patterns of behaviors, and embedded beliefs about ourselves and the world that can limit us. These unconscious drivers are just that, unconscious, beyond our awareness. They get embedded in us and like a program installed on a computer they run and run and run.
What is the benefit of hypnotherapy for weight loss? We can actually get in there and address and change these patterns of unconscious behaviors and limiting beliefs. Update the programs running in us. Change how we feel and what we do. These changes lead to long-term sustained weight loss success and weight management.
Weight loss is a weighty issue. Yes, it is. There’s a lot involved. In my office working with clients we address a variety of changes that may be useful. I’m planning a series of essays which I intend to share here on my blog, dealing with the issues hypnosis helps with, such as food choice, portion control, emotional eating, motivation to exercise, self image, negative self talk, limiting beliefs, time management and priorities, and more aspects of the weight management puzzle.
The number one change needed on everybody’s list is food choice — is there a predilection toward sugars and sweets? And/or too many carbs such as pasta, pizza, and potatoes? Not enough vegies? Drinking enough water? I’ve heard it all, uncontrollable attraction to unhealthy choices, such as cookies, chocolate, candy, cake, donuts, sugary sodas, French fries, chips, etc. And the gamut of ho-hum all the way to aversion responses to healthy choices.
Why Willpower Sucks
What is willpower? It activates during the “I want it” vs. “No, I’m not going to have it.” struggle. We’re torn between two competing desires. Willpower is the conscious mind taking control and activating a conscious decision. Usually, it’s the “no.” Willpower is weak. Willpower is difficult to maintain long term (yo-yo dieting proves this).
With skilled hypnosis, we erase the need for willpower altogether. Let me say that again. We get rid of any need for willpower. Willpower is forced to the surface when there’s a struggle. What if there were no struggle? What if your brain just said “no” automatically? There’d be no use for willpower and it wouldn’t even come into play. You’d just be doing something different because it feels right.
For example: I have no interest or desire to jump out of an airplane for sport. NONE. In fact, it’s not going to happen. It’s on my “no way” list. Do I obsess about jumping out of an airplane? Of course not. It never enters my mind. Do I struggle to force myself not to jump? Of course not. Do I jump? No. It’s not what I do. What if eating unhealthy became a “no” rather than a struggle? That’s what skilled hypnotherapy achieves. Will power goes back on the shelf. Don’t need it!
Beyond the Willpower Struggle
Here are some of my client results/comments regarding activation of this change:
“Hi Connie, Just had to send along this spread of the party I was at last night. All of the things I find the hardest to resist! Meats, cheeses, bread, crackers, nuts. It was so nothing to me! I didn’t have ONE THING! And the best part was I didn’t WANT one thing!
It’s just so amazing to me. I am sure it’s “another day at the office” for you but, for me…oh my goodness it was so awesome to not obsess over having it or not…wow. Thank you!!!” – Lori H., Mercer Island, WA
Is her willpower in play? No. The craving for these particular food choices is gone.
“I’ve lost 40# in 4 months… My sweet tooth and chip obsession disappeared overnight. My self esteem skyrocketed. It’s been months since I’ve seen you and yet I’m still right on track with my goals.” E. – Seattle. Is her willpower in play? No.
“I don’t crave ice cream at all now! Or chocolate. I am in shock!!!” — Saliha B., Issaquah, WA. Is her willpower in play? No.
I hope you get the picture here. These people are not “dieting” to avoid sweets and “temptations” and they’re not struggling, they’re just automatically choosing different in ways that serve their weight management success. That’s what skilled hypnosis can do. Hypnosis creates the positive changes that move people by addressing and changing the unconscious patterns. No diet can do that.
Keep reading here for continuing essays on the various aspects of the Weighty Issue of weight loss and weight management, and the successes to be had through Neuro Linguistic Hypnotherapy.
This beautiful lady, Stephanie Meade, of Renton, WA is noticing some positive changes after beginning Neuro Linguistic Hypnotherapy with Mindworks Hypnosis. The changes are in her eating habits, her activity level, and her positive self image and sense of her own choices.
She’s losing desire for foods that are unhealthy, and finding a new focus. Healthy! Good job, Stephanie! And, best of all, she knows she deserves success and can achieve success.
In her own words:
“Hi, my name is Stephanie. I have been seeing Connie for a couple weeks now and I’m already noticing some really fabulous changes.
Ice cream has always been a big issue for me. The other night my brother wanted to go to Dairy Queen, and I could not even go through the drive-thru because I just couldn’t even stand the thought of touching the ice cream. So, I made him go in to get it and hide it from me.
And, pizza has always been my very favorite thing to eat. I’ve never gone, I think, longer than a week without pizza. I haven’t had any for, I think, three weeks now, maybe four. I also don’t have any desire for the pizza, which is a crazy thing.
And, I’m starting to feel better about myself. I’ve always struggled with feelings of not feeling good enough. I’m starting to feel like I AM good enough, like I’m a good person, and I deserve to succeed. And so, I can’t wait to see what other wonderful changes happen as I progress with Connie.” — Stephanie Meade, Renton, WA
That’s right. Stephanie is making changes. Changes in eating habits, changes in motivation to exercise, changes in self image. She’s moving towards her goal, step by step. Hypnosis is the tool to activate this journey successfully. Mindworks Hypnosis & NLP. Find what works!
Here is another of my fun “anthropomorphism” videos. 🙂
What if your elliptical machine could talk? What would it say to you? Would it feel fulfilled in it’s purpose in life? Or would it feel unused and unnecessary? Here is the tale of a lonely elliptical machine.
When it’s time to get moving, you know what to do. Call Mindworks Hypnosis and NLP. (425) 564-8608. We’ll get your blood flowing and your motivation flying and your body moving. If you want activity and energy on the menu, we can help put it there. And as everyone on the planet knows, this is key to weight loss and weight management.
I had a weight loss client who gave me very strange feedback. She had come in originally in a total depressed funk, couldn’t lose weight, couldn’t get motivated, couldn’t stick to a food plan. Had tried and failed numerous times. Feeling lousy and lacking confidence in herself.
We did some fantastic work, and she began shifting her thinking and her habits. Eating less, feeling more motivated to exercise, choosing healthy, feeling happier in her life and more empowered. I was very pleased with our work.
I called her to follow up with her a month or so after her last session (she had a total of 3 with me). She said (amazingly):
“I’m sad to say the hypnosis didn’t work. I’ve lost 29 pounds so far and I feel super confident that I’m going to achieve everything I want for my healthy life and lose all the weight I want. But it’s nothing to do with the hypnosis. It’s just that my nutritionist found me a good food plan, and it’s so easy and automatic for me to stick with it, that’s why I’m doing so well and losing all the weight I want…”
Here she is describing exactly the success we’d been working on creating and telling me “it didn’t work.” The hypnosis absolutely DID work. Minus 29 pounds is amazing success!! And the hypnosis is still working. She had food plans before, they didn’t help her. Changing her thinking/feeling/doing helped her.
I’ve run into this before. In some people the conscious mind is blind to changes and wants to think it’s something else (besides hypnosis) that accounts for success. Hypnosis is what allowed her to STICK on the food plan, and in such a graceful and easy manner. Hypnosis done well leads to changes that feel automatic and easy.
I do hypnosis well. I wrote back to her congratulating her on her success. 🙂
Does hypnosis work? Amazingly well, and often in so powerful and streamlined a manner that you forget how life used to be.

I’m so excited. Today is a day of FUN, and learning. Those are one and the same thing in my book. 🙂 Michael and I are taking advantange of a rare opportunity to learn today from one of the best hypnotists in the US, Don Mottin of the National Guild of Hypnotists. He’s in Seattle offering a course in client-based weight loss.
National Guild of Hypnotists
Now, hypnotic weight loss is already my expertise, but you can ALWAYS learn more, fine tune and enhance skills. Michael and I are members of the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest, and best recognized Professional Organization for hypnotists in the US, and as such we have a committment to continuing education. This is a piece of that!! Learning more. Yay!
I don’t settle for good, I want to be the absolute best hypnotist I can be. Learning is a never-ending process, and a never ending joy. Last year Michael and I attended two of Don Mottin’s live training courses: Rewiring the Brain For Stroke Survivors and Pain Management–all full of useful ideas that I have incorporated into my work. More learning with Don = more excellence for me, and better results for my clients. That’s what it’s all about.
Pearls of wisdom.
We just had Halloween (one of my favorite holidays). Here is how I see learning. It’s like trick or treating! (Honestly, some programs I’ve spent money on are a trick, not a treat!) Don is a treat. He’ll be offering up a basket of cool ideas like a basket of gems and pearls. I prefer a basketful of ideas to a basketful of snickers and M&Ms and jelly beans. The currency of excellence here is creative imagination, not sugar. I’ll take some!!!
I offer hypnosis services for weight management, and periodically I get asked questions about “bariatric hypnosis.” I’d like to answer those questions here and explain why I believe it’s ill-conceived, not likely to be successful, and something that I would NEVER do to my clients in a million years.
“What is bariatric surgery?” It’s a variety of invasive medical procedures that involve the slicing and dicing of the human body to artificially create a reduction in stomach capacity, fraught with all the pain, dangers, and complications of surgery, plus the aftermath of nausea, vomiting, dehydration and potential malnutrition, with dubious longevity or long term benefit. What’s the point of all this? To achieve weight loss. (Hint: there’s an easier way!)
The goal: physically creating a situation wherein you’ll eat less–because you can’t physically eat. That removes choice, doesn’t it? And it fails to address whatsoever the core unconscious issues that lead a person to obesity-inducing behaviors–those remain, even after surgery. It doesn’t change feelings, thoughts, beliefs, it’s an artificial and unpleasant restriction on behavior. I like choices for people. What is bariatric surgery? A limiting of choice and just plain dumb.
What would it be like if there were far simpler ways to achieve and maintain a healthy weight? Ways that are pleasant, natural, non-intrusive, and encourage healthy choice? That in addition make a person feel good, not just about their body, but their whole life?? Feelings of high self esteem, accomplishment, power, joy, and so on?
Well, we’re all in luck, because there are such ways, when skillfully delivered. They are called Hypnosis and NLP. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (a specialized high-tech hypnosis, which is conversational in nature). These things, when used with artistry and creativity and skill, lead a person to a healthy weight naturally. With surgery, there are still cravings that are present yet denied due to artificial restrictions. With hypnosis and NLP, there are no cravings period. Gone. Which sounds more appealing? To me, that’s the definition of purgatory, wanting and wanting and being unable to have. After bariatric surgery, suffering an eternity of feeling deprived? NO, THANK YOU! That’s like dieting.
Hypnosis is not dieting. It’s life change. Changing how you feel, and how you think, and what you do, and even what you believe to be true. Changing your life. In ways that are useful. No scalpels required.
Unless you are a bariatric hypnotist. Dumber. A bariatric hypnotist chooses to engage in a process of hypnotic change work which involves the client undergoing the aforementioned bariatric procedures hypnotically, while in trance. Trance is meant to be a pleasant experience, not something horrific!! They have au de operating room, ether smells, and sound effects of being cut open so that the person will experience it all as real, and the body respond accordingly. This idea disturbs me greatly. A true hypnotist (one who has had legitimate training and was paying attention and has a modicum of intelligence) has tools to help, that don’t create an artificial fix. Bariatric hypnosis isn’t a “fix,” it’s another f-word, followed by an e-d.
The whole mindset around this “work” disturbs me. The other day I got a mailing soliciting bariatric hypnotists. The language appalled me. It read: “Calling All Hypnotists Seriously Interested in Helping The Morbidly Obese Client Rejoin The Human Race.” Oh!! Really? Those with weight problems are not human? What are they? Aliens? Hey, just a guess, but this does not sound like a compassionate or empathetic point of view. I guess if you’re going to cut them open, it’s easier to do if you think of them as nonhuman. Maybe it’s like dissecting lab rats.
Bariatric surgery? Dangerous, dumb, dubiously effective, and not necessary for successful weight loss. Hypnotic bariatric surgery? In my opinion, that is exponentially dumber, and absolutely wrong-minded–what a waste of a powerful and positive tool for life change–hypnosis. I KNOW how people successfully lose weight and maintain a healthy weight. And I know that they don’t require surgery to do it. Now…how do I know?
Because I’ve lived the transformation from fat to fit, and maintained it for 5 years. Without being sliced open, in reality or in my unconscious mind. Hypnosis and NLP, used properly, are all you need! Here’s what I’ve accomplished:
Before and After.
And I help others to achieve and maintain a healthy weight as well. Here are some comments from some of my successful weight loss clients:
“I have been committed to lose weight for my health for years. However, the actual first step was almost impossible. So before I tried more radical methods, I thought I would try hypnosis. Connie Brannan, and Mindworks Hypnosis worked wonders. The day after my first session, new behaviors emerged and became habits. The amazing thing is – it was so easy.
Late night cravings – gone.
Drinking 8 glasses of water/day – new habit.
Portion control – easy.
A real desire for healthy foods – a new habit.
Feeling full with the right amount of food – a new feeling.

I found myself craving healthy foods, appropriate portions, and daily exercise. My sweet tooth and chip obsession disappeared overnight. My self esteem skyrocketted. I finally knew I could conquer my lifelong struggle with my weight. It’s been months since I’ve seen you and yet I’m still right on track with my goals. Hypnosis is easy and it truly works. “It’s amazing. I’m such a different person from who I was. I’m happy, confident, very positive. People around me are noticing and commenting. Best of all, I’m not so hard on myself, I’ve learned to say nice things to myself. I’m so much happier. I feel like I can do anything.” — K.J., Renton, WA.
“Connie, I can’t begin to thank you for the ways you’ve made things better for me. I originally sought out Mindworks as the result of a glowing recommendation from a trusted friend and health professional in an effort to curb my neurotic eating. Connie was wonderfully professional and patient with me even when I lost confidence in myself or the process. I was able to dramatically reduce my nervous/neurotic eating, let go of self-loathing thoughts, gain some peace with difficult parent relationships and feel so much more hopeful and positive about the direction in which I was headed. I absolutely plan to return to do a little more mental house-cleaning and have recommended her so several others.” — Bree, Seattle, WA.
“I went to MindWorks for weight loss but ended up getting so much more out of my sessions with Connie. I have reduced stress, increased confidence and put past dysfunctional relationships in the past. Connie is a warm, caring, professional. The work we have done together has absolutely changed my life. I highly recommend Connie / MindWorks.” –Kelly, Seattle, WA.
“I cannot even begin to say all I want to say about Connie and the work she does at Mindworks Hypnosis. I’ve worked with Connie on a couple different occasions, and she has changed my life completely. I went to her for my lack of energy and enthusiasm for working out and losing weight. I’ve lost 50lbs and am now 10lbs from my goal!” –N, Seattle, WA.
“I was so happy to find Connie. Over the past 50 years I have spent thousands tracking down my constant, and health damaging weight problem. I talked until therapists felt we had gone as far as possible and still weighed over 250 pounds! (and growing) Three short treatments from Connie and I have been losing between 15 and 20 effortless, happy pounds a month. My Life has totally changed for the better. Folks don’t even recognize me from the back! She is a REAL LIVE miracle worker.” –GG, Redmond, WA.
I could go on… Do you get the idea here? Sometimes a client will ask for my help with more than one issue. One nice thing about how easy change is, it builds on itself. Change one thing for the better and other positive changes begin rolling. Here is a testimonial/business review I received today:
“I cannot thank Connie enough for the amazing Life Changing experience! I have sufferred from both a fear of heights and an ongoing, 50 year weight management problem. I have paid thousands of dollars to “talk” therapists, and emerged with some idea of why I had these problems, but NO idea of how to utilize that knowledge. In 3 sessions with Connie, who was extremely sensitive to my issues, I can now proudly say “Bring on your heights” and I have been losing between 15 and 20 effortless, happy pounds a month. My Life has totally changed for the better. Folks don’t even recognize me from the back! She is a REAL LIVE miracle worker. GG”
Yay!!
I love success stories. Is it time for yours to begin?
I received some more feedback today, another happy testimonial from another happy client. She had come in for help with weight loss. Here’s what she had to say about her ice cream and chocolate cravings after experiencing a single session of Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy with me:
“I don’t crave ice cream at all now! Or chocolate. I am in shock!!!” She goes on to explain how people around her are noticing the positive difference in her. “I’m smiling all the time. People think that I am in love! But I am not! Absolutely not in love, I just feel GREAT. I believe that it’s the hypnosis!!” Saliha B., Issaquah, WA.
She’s right! What I’m hoping people can learn from this is that hypnosis helps. Not just in re-shaping and sculpting the body, but in changing your life. When the positive changes start rolling, it affects everything, reaches fingers into everything. It’s about changing your very experience of life, not only improving how you look, but improving how you feel, and how you think, and what you do all at the same time. Improving your outlook, your energy, your confidence. Your healthy and happy. All good.
Saliha IS in love, by the way. With herself. That’s the difference. When you feel good about yourself, you make better choices. We custom blended a new feeling for her, a mixture of confident, happy, optimistic and healthy. Feeling that way changed everything for her.
Do you want a taste of happy like Saliha? It’s so much more palatable than chocolate. Hypnosis works for weight management. Call me. Connie: (425) 564-8608.
The government has abandonded the “food pyramid” in favor of the “food plate” symbol for balancing nutrition. That’s good. That’s useful. Click the highlighted link to read the gov’s article on Steps to a Healthier Weight.
Obesity is a growing problem (no pun) in the US and world. Knowing what to eat is good information. But there’s more. It’s the intangible. The mindset that allows you to DO IT. Easily. Get healthy, that is. The motivation. The passion, determination, and focus to acheive a healthy weight and maintain it over time. Hypnosis is a tool to do all of that. The best tool, in my mind. I’ve battled weight my entire life, until I found “the big guns” that turned the war around. That’s hypnosis.
In my Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy sessions, I’m not teaching people a food plan. I’m not a nutritionist. I’m teaching them a thought plan. Most people know what they SHOULD do, what they should eat, and how much, how they should move their bodies, they often just have trouble doing it. Hypnosis makes it happen. Easily. That’s the key word. It’s easy to change. When you want to, with sufficient motivation and oomph. Hypnosis creates all the oomph you need to do what you want to do. It works.
Knowing about food and nutrition and food plans is all wonderful. Having professionals help you with these things if necessary is also good. Getting healthy is worthy. And you deserve it. Lighter, stronger, more energy, more power, HEALTHIER. Don’t neglect the most important piece of the puzzle–the mind. Your mind. That’s my arena of expertise.
If it’s time to get healthy, to let go of that burdensome extra weight…take on a tool that works. Hypnosis.
Everyone talks about New Year’s Resolutions! Well, New Year’s has come and gone, and perhaps you have not yet achieved your weight management goals. I can help! That’s right, perhaps it’s time for a new Spring Resolution. 🙂
I help people with my Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy with ALL the issues surrounding weight loss and healthy eating habits. I’ve lived this story. And here I am, lighter and happy at the success side of this. I know all about it.
Hypnosis works! For motivation, and increasing the desire to exercise, freedom from cravings, freedom from junk food, getting in tune with your body’s needs, eliminating that negative self talk, and more. It’s about installing healthy choices, naturally, on a UNconscious level. This makes new healthy behaviors and thoughts and feelings so natural that you forget you ever had a problem. How amazing would that be?
You can find out. Call me! I’ve also got a website which focuses on my work with weight management: it’s here http://www.loseweightseattle.com. Seattle, yes! But not only Seattle. I’m talkin’ to you, Bellevue, and Redmond, and Sammamish, and Issaquah. I’m talkin’ to you, Mercer Island! (my home town). I’m talking to all of you in the Seattle metro area. If you want it to be different, it can be. Find out now!
Are any of you on Facebook? They’ve taken to “customizing” your profile page to show you ads they think are for YOU. Yikes. They think I need some kind of face peel. Am I on the “geezer list?”
Here’s an advertisement/picture they stuck on my page. SCARY!
Don’t need this crap! Hypnosis is the best anti-aging agent around…you’ll look younger and LIVE younger, because hypnosis is the best stress reliever ever–and stress is what ages you.
Happy New Year! Are you making some wonderful New Year’s Resolutions for 2011 for your health and success and prosperity? I am!
Yes, I’ve been thinking about New Year’s Resolutions. And the word “resolve.” What does it really mean? If you’re sort of wanting something, thinking about it, but doing little or nothing to achieve it, that equals a lack of resolve. “Gee, that would be nice someday, but…” If you’re half-heartedly doing something towards a goal for only a day or two or three and then the desire drifts away, that’s a wishy-washy resolve. Like a slap with a wet noodle–not much power in it. I believe that half-hearted determination is what most people bring to their New Year’s Resolve. And that’s sad.
However, it doesn’t have to be that way!! 🙂 If weak resolve is not good enough for you, read on! Hypnosis helps you create something absolutely different. Hypnosis reaches into your inner workings and finds, reinforces and activates true resolve. True resolve is a whole-hearted affair. Heart and mind and body affair–every nerve and fiber of your being saying: “YES, I’m going for it!!!” Resolve and determination…think Rocky preparing for his big fight, eating raw eggs, and working out, running up those monument steps, triumphant (in advance) and focusing all his attention and actions on achieving his goal.
That’s real resolve. It’s power, because you KNOW you’re going to get what you want and nothing and no one can deter you. You do everything within your power and energy and creativity, with passion and motivation, to achieve it, that worthy outcome you desire.
Resolve is also a visual term. When things come into focus, they resolve. The blur resolves into a clear image. When you resolve to do something, your goal is FOCUSED. Sharp, sharp, sharp. Clear. Unmistakable. How would you like to be sharply focused and motivated and moving on your goals with true resolve? Yes, me, too.
Hypnosis, baby! If your New Year’s desires already have the force of a pure and clear RESOLUTION, yay! I applaud you! Go for it. However, if you find that clarity of desire unfocused, or the resolve is not there to give you that OOMPH, that go for it power of actual sustained movement forward, then hypnosis is a tool to help you do just that.
It doesn’t matter WHAT you are resolving to do, hypnosis can give you that directed focus and acceleration, like stepping on the gas pedal in your car. You select the destination, hypnosis is both the GPS (how to get there) and the thrust forward of stepping on the gas. Resolve. Rocky was hypnotized. He hypnotized himself into power. We are all capable of this, but it’s a heck of a lot easier to have a professional communicator help it to happen faster and more easily.
Personally, I think it would be a massively wonderful gift to give yourself for the new year: a super powerful hypnotic dose of accelerant for your goals, whatever they may be. Quitting tobacco once and for all, getting in shape, finishing that project, beginning that project, whatever you’re resolving within yourself to do and be for 2011 and beyond. The difference: with hypnosis, the resolve STICKS, long and strong enough to get what you want. How cool is that?
Resolve to make 2011 your best year ever, and begin to realize the control you do have over your life. Over your actions, your habits, your very thoughts.
Warmest Regards,
Connie
